Description

This meditation is for children and is performed lying down (yoga nidra). You may use it for teaching ideas or in the primary school classroom as a teaching aid, or at home. It focuses on cortical re-mapping the brain and working the contralateral hemisphere in relation to the limbs. It also asks the children to focus on an intention and a feeling they may wish to create in the body to assist them with the daily activities, concentration, bodily awareness, emotional health. Suitable for ages 5-12.
