OL150ATT Certificate in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Medicine (Online)
A Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance Approved Training Course
Ayurvedic Massage, Nutrition and Vedic Meditation
Begin your heartwarming and exciting journey into the depths of Ayurvedic wisdom with Biyome’s 150-hour Certificate in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Medicine, covering Ayurvedic Massage, Nutrition, and Vedic Meditation. This comprehensive Ayurveda course integrates traditional wisdom with practical skills to support holistic health and wellbeing.
The physical body is a manifestation of prana, reflecting our thoughts, emotions, perceptions, breathing patterns, and lifestyle choices, including food, rest, and exercise. According to Ayurveda, imbalances in prana contribute to many health concerns, while the doshas describe the unique ways prana moves through the body, mind, and breath.
Ayurvedic treatments, including nutrition, herbal medicine, massage, bodywork, and meditation, all work to restore and balance prana. Food is a carrier of prana, herbs support healthy pranic function, and therapeutic touch conveys prana through bodywork. Meditation and mantra influence the energy of the mind, while the practitioner’s presence, counselling, and compassionate touch are traditionally regarded as important aspects of the healing process.
This unique program seamlessly integrates the timeless principles of Ayurveda with the science and art of Vedic Meditation, providing a comprehensive approach to holistic wellbeing. You will also explore foundational nutrition principles that combine the best of Eastern Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary Western nutrition.

Vedic Meditation
Vedic meditation, popularised as Transcendental Meditation (TM), is a set of 5,000-year-old techniques originating from the ancient Indian texts known as the Vedas. According to these texts, the purpose of meditation is to connect with the deep inner Self, which can be achieved through Vedic techniques that affect different levels of senses and consciousness (Sharma, 2015). Vedic meditation encompasses diverse techniques that fall within one of the eight branches of Ayurveda, the “science of life” —a comprehensive system of natural healthcare originating in the Vedic tradition. Within Ayurveda, meditation supports mental wellbeing through Graha Chikitsa, the branch that focuses on psychology and mental health. Today, Vedic Meditation remains an integral part of the daily sadhana practice of yogis worldwide (Frawley, 2022).
Nutritional Psychiatry
Nutritional Psychiatry is a growing field that explores the relationship between diet and nutrition and mental health, highlighting the powerful influence of food on cognitive function and emotional wellbeing. Extensive research has demonstrated the important connection between the gut microbiota and the brain through the vagus nerve. Supporting healthy vagal tone may positively influence nervous system function, neuroplasticity, mental health, and overall wellbeing, while promoting a healthier gut microbiota.
Yoga Therapy, meditation, and dietetics all contribute to optimal gut and brain health by encouraging a diet rich in whole, organic foods, mindful use of antibiotics in both medicine and the food chain, and sustainable lifestyle practices. Together, nutrition, yoga, and meditation create a positive feedback loop that supports the gut microbiota, enhances brain health, and builds resilience.
Ayurvedic Massage, Kundalini Bodywork & Pranic Healing
Master the ancient art of Ayurvedic Massage with Celia Roberts, BSc. Discover the therapeutic benefits of this traditional practice, using neuroaffective touch at Marma points—the vital energy points of Ayurveda. Develop the skills to offer compassionate, mindful touch therapy that supports deep relaxation and healing, traditionally associated with Shaktipat. In Ayurvedic practice, the awakened prana of the practitioner is regarded as an important element in supporting the therapeutic relationship and facilitating healing.
This course explores the elemental nature of the body, diagnostic face and body reading, trauma stored in the body, and the evidence supporting the somatic mind-body connection.
Learn Ayurvedic Massage techniques tailored to each dosha, supporting balance and wellbeing through personalised treatment. Explore Ayurvedic Energetic Anatomy, Nadis, Chakras, Kundalini awakenings, and Emotional Release Bodywork. With insights into disease processes, clinical examination, and constitutional assessment, this holistic approach reflects the Vedic understanding that “Massage is medicine.” Integrate Ayurvedic Massage, Kundalini Bodywork, and Pranic Healing into contemporary Allied Health Practice.
