200BPTT Breathwork, Pranayama & Somatic Yoga Teacher Training

A Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance Approved Training Course | PACFA-Endorsed Modules

Elevate Your Practice with Australia’s Premier Somatic Breathwork Certification

Step into the forefront of holistic health with BIYOME’s Advanced Breathwork and Pranayama Yoga Teacher Training. This elite multi-level certification (200hr to 500hr) is designed for health practitioners, clinicians, counsellors, and yoga practitioners seeking to integrate ancient contemplative practices with modern somatic science.

Whether you are an aspiring teacher or an experienced professional, this training provides aclear, structured pathway to becoming a Certified Breathwork & Pranayama Somatic Yoga Facilitator, recognised both nationally and internationally. Completion of the full 500hr pathway also supports eligibility for health insurance rebates for your clients.

Blending practical skills with advanced theory, the training incorporates consciousness research, non-ordinary states of awareness, transpersonal Yogic and Vedic psychology, and contemplative science. Graduates are equipped to facilitate transformative, trauma-informed sessions with confidence, safety, and ethical precision.

Mapping The Mystic: The Inner Landscapes of Ecstasy in Consciousness

This training also explores how altered states are not random experiences, but mappable inner terrains within Eastern traditions. Drawing on pranayama as described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita, and Shiva Samhita, participants use breathwork as a precise gateway into samadhi, navigating the conscious, subconscious, and unconscious layers of mind. Breath becomes the bridge from personal awareness to universal oneness and a deep exploration of consciousness.

“Breath control has a range of physiological and psychological effects, and Gheranda differentiates between three levels of mastery. At the lowest level, prânâyâma generates heat in the body. At a higher level, it causes tremor in the limbs, especially in the spinal column. At the highest level, it leads to actual levitation (‘leaving the ground’). Prânâyâma is also held to cure a great variety of diseases, awaken the serpent power, and create blissful states of consciousness.”

What Our Students Say

Hear from past and present students about their experiences with and the benefits they gained from our courses.

Biyome has given me valuable experiential knowledge of yoga, meditation and breathwork. This has deepened my knowledge of vedic and yoga philosophy and helped me to develop my own practice. The face-to-face retreats were deeply transformative, and these immersive experiences opened my eyes to what is possible. I realise that I have only scratched the surface, and that my journey has only just begun.
