CPD26 Ayurvedic Massage, Kundalini Bodywork & Pranic Healing
A Continuing Professional Development Specialty Intensive
Learn how to master the ancient art of Ayurvedic Massage with Celia Roberts BSc. Ayurvedic Massage is based on ancient wisdom about the mind-body-energy connection and affects all levels of the mind, senses and the soul (Atman). Traditional Ayurvedic massage is a full body massage that heals from head to toe, focusing on marma points – classical healing pressure points that can alter the body’s organic function and structural condition. Deep-seated vata, pitta, and kapha imbalances can be addressed, with emotional hindrances and pranic blockages cleared, nourishing the tissues and entire system at a cellular level. Learn Ayurvedic Massage Techniques tailored to each dosha, unlocking the potential for elemental change within the body. With Ayurvedic principles primarily based on prevention rather than cure, the intention is to encourage vitality, health and longevity.
Uncover the therapeutic potency of this traditional practice, utilising neuroaffective touch at Marma points—secret mystical points on the body. Experience and learn to offer your clients compassionate and mindful touch therapy that induces transformative healing at a cellular level, traditionally known as Shaktipat. Essentially, the awakened prana of the Ayurvedic practitioner becomes instrumental in directing energy for healing, establishing a profound connection between the therapist and the patient.
Explore Ayurvedic Energetic Anatomy, Nadis, Chakras, Kundalini and Emotional Release Bodywork. With insights into disease processes, clinical examinations, and constitutional assessments, this holistic approach aligns with the Vedic truth, “Massage is medicine.”
In this course, you will learn how to observe a client’s current state of health and their personal dosha/s. With your knowledge of the strokes of classical Ayurvedic massage, you will be able to determine which strokes suit the individual dosha of a person, and similarly which Ayurvedic herbal medicated oils are required to suit a condition and constitution to relieve the mind and body from tensions, tightness, stresses and toxic build ups.
Being able to bring the sisters sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda together is essential to yoga teaching and therapy. It is the true ancient model.
Join us in mastering the sacred art of Ayurvedic Massage and Kundalini Bodywork, seamlessly blending ancient Pranic Healing into contemporary Allied Health Practice.
