The science of enoughness is the art of contentment

IS YOUR MINDSET REALLY HELPING YOU?

Do you know that if you believe that you are not exercising enough, not meditating enough, not doing enough yoga, not getting enough nutrient- dense food, then your body is really listening to these thoughts?

How many times per day do you feel that YOU are not enough, not DOING enough?
Now, this is a time to really become honest with yourself because that perceived sense of lack has a huge effect on your nervous, endocrine, and immune systems.

So, this NEW year, I encourage you to change your mental approach. Look instead for what you are doing.

All the little things:

  1. Note how much natural movement and exercise you do without needing to do more.
  2. Note many times per day you are drawn back into the present or to meditation without needing to do more.
  3. Note how in the mindset of indulgence, that delicious piece of chocolate is the best thing ever for your satiation! Also notice how one piece of nutrient-dense delicious chocolate may, in fact, satiate you far more than 5 pieces of healthy chocolate. That perceived sense of lack in health food can transfer all the way down to your gut. If you approach food from a mindset of sensibility, you may produce less ghrelin in your gut!) [1]

This sense of enoughness has massive and positive effects on your mind and body.
Essentially, the science behind enoughness is the art of contentment.
You are enough.
All you are doing is enough.

And beyond that and the polarities of such mindsets: “I am not good enough” and “I am enough”, then you have a meta-mindset. This is what we settle into in deep meditation. It is a state of deep contemplation following self enquiry where you enter that state of I AM.
It is a state beyond the mind of presence, contentment and being.
That is who you are.
Total and complete perfection.
