The Following Day Course outline is written by Alisa Craig, registered breathworker, for the following course…

CPD18 Yoga Therapy, Breathwork, Pranayama & the Science of Breathing 4-day training

“Breathwork is the use of breath awareness and conscious breathing for healing and growth, personal awakening and transformation in spirit, mind, and body”

Master Breathworker, Dan Brule.

Join us for a transformative journey into the world of breathwork, where the breath becomes both a guide and a healer. In this immersive, experiential day on this four-day workshop, we’ll explore how the breath holds the key to self-mastery, healing, and personal growth. Through the practice of conscious connected breathing—an approach rooted in the transformative methods of rebirthing breathwork—we’ll peel back the layers of conditioning, masks, and limiting beliefs, uncovering the true nature of the self.

Note: This day is solely focused on personal development. It’s a space for self-exploration and healing, where we will dive deep into your own experiences and insights.

Throughout this day, you will:

  • Learn Breathwork’s Origins: Discover the history and philosophy behind breathwork, including how our first breath and birth patterns influence behavioural and relationship dynamics throughout life. We’ll explore how these early imprints shape our current experiences and how breathwork can help re-pattern them to foster greater freedom and authenticity.
  • Explore the Psycho-Educational Aspects of Breathwork: We’ll discuss the physiology of emotions, the relationship to the inner child, and the role of breath in bringing unconscious patterns to the surface. By working with the emotional body as a reflection of unresolved needs and wounds, we’ll use breathwork to facilitate healing across emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual levels, promoting relaxation, increased vitality, and deeper self-awareness.
  • Practice Conscious Connected Breathing: Learn how conscious breathing serves as a powerful tool for personal development and emotional regulation. Different to traditional pranayama techniques, this practice allows for continuous, connected breaths to access deeper states of consciousness and healing. This approach supports a profound release of stress, anxiety, and stored trauma while enhancing immune function and fostering resilience.

The day will include two lying-down breathwork sessions for a fully immersive experience. There will be reflective intention setting and debriefing practices to deepen your understanding and integrate the insights gained through the breath.
